We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. We are looking forward to seeing you.
You will see some changes in our procedures and in how we look, as your health is our top priority. The CDC, American Dental Association and OSHA are some of the agencies that have assisted us in making the current recommendations.
We will be calling to schedule your next visit very soon. Before coming to your next visit, please visit our website to print out an updated consent form with health screening questions to be answered. The form can be found under the CONTACT US tab.
Please bring the completed and signed form to your appointment, and please brush before coming.
We ask that only patients enter the building as this will optimize social distancing. If you have not brought paperwork to the appointment; however, you will need to come in to fill it out.
Your temperature will be taken with an infrared thermometer and we will have you rinse with a hydrogen peroxide solution. We will also have you use hand sanitizer.
We may look a little different as gowns, face shields and N-95 masks are now the rage, but remember it’s still “us” underneath.
Appointments will be set up per social distancing, and will be about one half hour in length. If significant breakage of the braces has occurred, we will make every attempt to rebrace and do a complete orthodontic adjustment, but at the minimum will keep the patient progressing.
Before the patient leaves, we will schedule the next visit and give the patient a printed copy of the appointment. If that appointment doesn’t work for you, please call to reschedule.
We are excited to see you and your smile again and thank you for your patience. Absence does make the heart grow fonder – I missed you and my staff. Welcome back!
Healthy and best regards,
P.S. Parking in the lot has not changed, but if you park in the street you must do so farther down the street, or park across the street. Thanks.
